A Hanami Blossom Market is set to take place this weekend in Victoria to welcome the changing season.

“Hanami” is a Japanese custom where people go to view and enjoy the cherry blossoms every spring, and of course Victoria also has many trees that bloom every year.

The market, organized by Morena Clothing and Local – Made by hand, will be held at Garage Studios on March 18, 2023 from 11 am to 4 pm. 

Held under the cherry blossom trees, you can browse 20 unique vendors, who are bringing their handcrafted works. 

Some of the artisans include wood carving, self care products, herbal blends, crocheted items, jewelry and more.

In addition to shopping, they’ll also have an “old-timey” photo booth and a flower making workshop.
