On Saturday morning, teams of citizens and local RCMP put their fitness skills to the test at the sophomore year of the Gratitude Games.
Hosted by Global Fitness, the Gratitude games offers participants the chance to 'sweat it out' in an intense obstacle course, while saying 'thanks' to local first responders.

During the first year of the event, the games took place indoors at Global’s facility, but this year the event grew even bigger and required a larger space.
Taking place at City Park, athletes performed various exercises including, running along the beach and pulling tires, performing a series of push-ups and burpees as well as other strength and skill-testing activities. Multiple teams participated from the RCMP detachment – some in regular, athletic wear and others, decked out in official uniform – vests included.
