An additional 2 cm of fresh snow is waiting for all you skiers and snowboarders up at Big White.

After 48 cm of new snow over the past seven days, the alpine snow base is now up to 201 cm.

To help you enjoy the fresh powder, Big White has announce Local Sundays. Locals can give winter sports a try at a discounted price.

Depending on your age, you’ll receive a beginner-area lift ticket, a full-day of rentals and a 2-hour beginner lesson for as low as $50. Register today by giving our Ski and Board School a call at 250-491-6101 or emailing skischool@bigwhite.com.

The temperature is a cool -4C. It’s snowing lightly and the winds are moderate. There are 15 lifts open serving a total of 117 runs.
