For this edition of Get Local, we are featuring the best antique store PG has to offer, The Rust Gate.
The Rusty Gate
Who says vintage has to be a thing of the past?
The Rusty Gate is the perfect example of turning something old into a new obsession!
For the friendly staff at The Rust Gate, the name of the game is repurposing and reimagining every item!
Since opening the store in 2015, Mary Schultz has been helping PG residents add that something special to their home.
The always expanding and evolving inventory means that every time you enter the store there will be something new to peruse.
Schultz carries anything from books and vintage decor to furniture you never knew you needed!
After spending some serious time on your feet looking through all the goodies, sit back and enjoy some yummy items from the café.
They have one of the best London fogs in town but don’t take our word for it. Try it yourself!
Fun fact: Their little cafe has some of the best homemade soups in town! Talk about comfort food!
Why we love it: The clutter-free environment makes shopping so easy!
Where: 1255 4th Avenue
