A favourite in Penticton, The Prague Cafe is a European oasis by the beach.

They offer Czech and European homemade fresh baked goods like fruit cakes, babovka, apple strudel, and old style ginger bread, as well as soups and sandwiches.

Visitors can also enjoy organic specialty coffees, such as espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, teas, and more, all while enjoying some beautiful beach views.

Opened in by Michal and Daniela after visiting Canada from Prague and falling in love, The Prague Cafe aims to bring the flavour of their old country to Penticton.

“It is our goal that our customers will like our coffee shop. Hopefully the atmosphere and the goodies will help them to transcend the distance and feel, for a while at least, that they are in the centre of Europe,” The Prague Cafe says.

To do so, they have European decor, cuisine, service and classical background music that make for a relaxing experience.
