About Sadie-Girl
Hello! My name is Sadie-girl and I am a people-loving pup. Before I came to Canada I had been living in a shelter in Mexico for two years, after being found wandering on the streets.
People just seemed to overlook a quiet little brown dog like me.

But one day someone noticed me on a website and she took a shine to me. I was adopted and brought to live in Kelowna, where I have learned the joys of life as a pet; a cozy home, a loving human and even my very own bed!
But my person is sad because she feels she can not offer me the best life. She knows that to be truly happy I need more human company and I am lonely when she leaves me alone all day to go to work. On the rare days when she can take me with her, I am quietly content because I am in the company of humans.

I love people and I always want to be around my humans. I may be small, but I have a surprising amount of energy. I am good on the leash and I love car rides! My idea of a perfect day would be if we hopped in the car for a hike or a stroll along the waterfront.
You will have to be patient with me and teach me proper introductions to other dogs because I’m not very comfortable around them. I had to share my space with so many of them at the shelter for two years that I prefer to have my humans to myself now, so a home where I can be the only pet is the best for me.

I am a made-for-people dog. If I could find a home with someone who is retired or works from home that would make me so happy. Or maybe you have a family with older kids and you are thinking of adding a small brown loveable dog to the mix? The more people for me to love, the better!
