Meet Phil!

This pup has been on a long journey, and is hopeful to find his furever home now that he’s in the care of the Victoria SPCA.

Phil is a 9-year-old Shih Tzu, and he came from Phoenix, to LA, to Seattle, Vancouver, and finally settled in Victoria.

Phil has many nicknames, including Dr. Phil, Prince Philip, and Philadelphia Cream Cheese—just to name a few.

He is quite fearful of new people and other dogs, and would do best in a very quiet home where he can enjoy his retirement years.

He does have some special needs, as he is currently on medications for chronic bronchitis and anxiety.

This means that a potential adopter would foster Phil until he was cleared medically. The SPCA would cover the costs and organize vet treatment, and once he gets the OK would be able to finalize his adoption into his forever home.
