About Missy!
Missy is a healthy, active, black lab mix and she was rescued by the SPCA on Vancouver Island two years ago by her most recent owner. However, sadly, because of employment he now needs to leave her to go work up north.

Personality Description
Missy is a real people dog. She loves everyone, even kids! She loves to spend time with humans and is ready to love her new family. She does get lonely when she is apart from her family. She will be okay once she knows that you’ll come back to her, but be prepared to work through this with her. She is very active and will enjoy doing everything with you. Even though she is older, she can go forever.

Suitability
Although Missy loves humans, she isn’t as fond of other dogs, or of cats, so she will need to be the only pet in the home. Her new family will need to be mindful when you go on walks around other dogs, as her other side can come out and she growls and barks at them. Missy would benefit from a home with experience with dogs like her. She does have food allergies and needs to eat Royal Cainin Gastro Fibre (It’s a little costly, but she’s worth it). All her shots are up-to-date, and she is ready to find her Furever Home!
