About Koala Bear!

Hi there, my name is Koala Bear, KB for short. I am a spitz/dachshund mix, and my cuteness is off the charts! In fact, my rescuers say that my bio doesn't do me justice. I got my name because I have a cleft nose that was repaired surgically (but still looks large) making me look like a cuddly Koala bear.
I was found with my brother Teddy Bear wandering together in the streets of Tehran where our life expectancy was certainly little more than a few hours. I was born without eyeballs, but you would never be able to tell. I am very active and playful, and I love to snuggle with my people.
Right now, I’m enjoying my days with my foster family in Vancouver. My brother Teddy Bear has already been adopted by a nice family, so I’m hoping I too will find a loving new home soon.

Personality Description
I am a loving and cuddly girl who loves to snuggle with my people. Lap time is even better than supper time to me. I am an ever so happy girl who will bring a ray of sunshine into your life. I've just been to the groomer (it was a little scary but my foster took good care of me). I'll be all shiny and clean for you when you are ready to take me home.

My rescuers think I may have been caged at a young age because I tend to circle. I am also visually impaired, but I get around so well you probably won’t notice (until I bump into something).
Suitability
I love my people, but for some reason I don’t do as well with other dogs, cats, nor young children, so I would really love a home where I can be an only child.
Koala Bear is spayed, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $400. If you’d like to learn more about Koala Bear, please contact Loved at Last Dog Rescue.
