Meet Cleo! She is an 8-year-old Rottweiler, and a long term resident at the Victoria SPCA. 

She is super playful and full of life, with a contagious energy and a young spirit.

Cleo might not be a young pup, but she has the energy of one! She has a special affinity for toys, especially her beloved red ball, which brings her endless joy and entertainment.

According to the SPCA, she was raised in an environment that did not prioritize socialization, so everything was new to her when she came to the shelter. She has since come a long way, but may still show reactive behaviour  around other dogs and things she’s not familiar with.

She can be anxious, defensive or overly excited in those situations, so working with a trainer will be necessary. 

Cleo would love to find an adult-only home away from the hustle and bustle of city life, so she can relax and take in the world around her. She also isn’t great with sharing, so being the only pet in the home is her preference.
