Brodie is looking for a furever home!

This bundle of love is a 3-year-old Anatolian Shepherd / Bullmastiff, and he is currently at the SPCA in Duncan waiting to meet his future family.

The shelter staff say he has the biggest heart (almost as big as his paws!) and would love to find a companion who is just as affectionate as he is.

Brodie will greet you with so much enthusiasm, and will jump for joy—a habit that may need some training! He is also learning to go for walks with a harness, which helps because he is so strong.

The SPCA says his strength is matched only by his loyalty.

Brodie will need an active family who can help him get rid of his excess energy. He would make a great partner for someone who loves outdoor activities and exercise, and he would absolutely love to call a spacious acreage home.

He is not a huge fan of other dogs, and will need to be a solo pup in his new home. That could change in the future with enough training. Due to his strong nature, a home without young children is also best. As for cats and other small animals, Brodie’s compatibility is uncertain, but with the right introduction and guidance, he could adjust well.
