A woman wanted by the Richmond RCMP since July 2019 has been arrested in the Okanagan.
Erica Esquieres, 26, had been on the run since the summer, facing nearly 30 charges in relation to fraud.

On Jan. 3, Mounties from Richmond acted on several investigative tips and made the 400 kilometre trek to Oliver.
That’s where they found and arrested Esquieres, in the 7000 block of Tuc-el-Nuit Drive.
Sgt. Gene Hsieh said they were highly motivated to locate the 26-year-old, who was “one of our most wanted suspects.”
“Staying true to form, even at the end, Esquieres attempted to deceive our officers to avoid capture,” explained Hsieh.
“Fortunately, each and every officer on the arrest team was quite familiar with Esquieres and her modus operandi.”
She’s been held in Oliver for the past week, but will be transferred to Richmond today.
