2018 has taken its first rock and roll legend, Edward Allan Clarke, more commonly known and adored as Fast Eddie. The former Motörhead member and co-creator of supergroup Fastway, has passed away at the age of 67.

The guitarist is the last of the classic Motörhead line-up members to pass on, the news was confirmed via the band’s Facebook page early Thursday morning where it was stated that he “passed peacefully in hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia.”

The guitarists break neck speed and wailing solos that left your brain scrambled, helped to cement Motörhead as one of the gnarliest, most thrash forward and iconic hard rock/ heavy metal bands in history.
