  • UPDATED: Evacuation alerts lifted in Clearwater area, Little Fort

    UPDATE: 

    The District of Clearwater Emergency Operations Centre has also rescinded an evacuation alert originally issued on July 15th. An evacuation alert for the entire district of Clearwater has been rescinded, with the exception of the following properties:

    • 415, 421, 425, 427, 429, 436, 479, 480, Clearwater Station Rd.
    • 91, 113, 220, 446, 450, 460 Dunn Lake Rd. 
    • 524 Russell Rd. 

    June 24, 11 a.m.:

    More evacuation alerts have been rescinded throughout the Thompson Nicola Regional District.

    The emergency operation centre has indicated wildfire in the vicinity of Thuya Lake no longer poses an imminent threat.

    An evacuation alert originally issued on July 7th for properties east of Lemieux Creek in Little Fort has been lifted.

    An evacuation alert issued on July 11th for all properties in Little Fort west and south of Lemieux Creek has also been rescinded.

    Evacuation alerts are also being rescinded in Clearwater South and Upper Clearwater.
