Big White should be a great place to be for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

After a quiet weekend snow-wise, the mountain is forecasted to see plenty of the white stuff over the next two days.

That begins tonight with 4-8 centimetres, while another 8-12 cm is expected to fall on Tuesday.
 

The alpine snow base is currently 153 cm, but that number should grow significantly in the final two days of 2019.

It’s -3°C on the hill to start the week and the resort is reporting overcast skies, calm winds and unlimited visibility.

There’s currently 16 lifts and 102 runs open to the public.
