(Update @ 2:30 p.m.): The Coquihalla Highway southbound lane has been closed yet again as road crews recover another vehicle in a different location. 

This incident is between Hwy 5A and Kane Valley Road and affects a 15-kilometre stretch of the road south of Merritt. 

DriveBC warned motorists to watch for traffic control and to slow down for road crews. 

They also warned of periodic stoppages. 

(Update @ 1:30 p.m.): The lane has now been reopened.

(Original story @ 1:13 p.m.): The southbound lane on the Coquihalla Highway has been temporarily closed near the Great Bear Snowshed.

DriveBC warned motorists to be prepared to stop after a vehicle incident between Exit 217: Zopkios and Exit 202 a kilometre north of the snowshed.

Crews are currently on the scene working to reopen the lane.
