The third annual Divas & Diamonds fundraiser returned to the Westbank Lions Community Hall on Saturday evening, providing a glamourous ladies night out for attendees.
In support of the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, Divas & Diamonds was created by the Peachland Lions as a way to help give back to the community at large, rather than just one specific group.

The event offered local divas the opportunity to enjoy a ladies night out, with a champagne reception, a fashion show and of course some stunning diamonds they had the opportunity to take home.

Over the last two events, Divas & Diamonds has raised over $12,000 for the KGH and organizers are hoping to get that number up to $20,000 after last night.
"It was a great evening, to see the expression and the compassion these women have towards the KGH and what the foundation does was just exhilarating," said co-chair, Shelley Sweeney.

"The event had a really great community feel and showcased what the KGH means to not just our area but the Okanagan as a whole."
Plans are already being made for the 2019 event that will take place on April 13, so keep an eye out for tickets!
