Divas & Diamonds is returning for its third year in just a few short weeks. The must-attend, ladies only event, is not only an excuse for a fun night out but a great way to support one of our most important resources, the Kelowna General Hospital.
In the last two years, the event has raised nearly $12,000 for the KGH Foundation. An organization that event co-chair and director of the Peachland Lions Club, Shelley Sweeney, holds in high regard.

“The foundation helps to provide better health and medical equipment for the Okanagan. We wanted to do something that would encompass and help the entire community, not just one particular segment,” said Sweeney
“It is a well-rounded foundation and it does so much to benefit the people in the Okanagan,” added Sweeney

The event intends to put the fun in fundraiser by providing guests with an evening they won’t soon forget.
Guests can anticipate being treated royally according to Sweeney. With delicious wine courtesy of the View Winery, a buffet created by the Blind Angler restaurant, a fashion show by Galleria Fashion Boutique, photo booth and the chance to make new friends and enjoy an evening out with old ones.

The goal of this year’s event is to raise $20,000 for the KGH Foundation with some wonderful prizing guests will not want to miss out on.
A fully stocked wine fridge, a Chef catered Dinner for six at the winner’s home and a reverse raffle draw for some stunning jewelry courtesy of JK Schmidts Jewellers, are just a few of the treasures up for grabs!
