West Kelowna residents are invited to attend an upcoming open house about proposed improvements to the Highway 97 Boucherie and Westlake Road intersections.
In 2014, the ministry began planning for improvements to increase safety and mobility along the Highway 97 corridor. The government is looking at meeting the future traffic demands that projected population and economic growth will bring to the area.

Based on initial planning and discussions with the Westbank First Nation and City of West Kelowna, the ministry has developed conceptual plans for the two intersections, and now is seeking community input on these plans.
The public is welcome to attend the open houses scheduled for:
March 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. – Super 8 West Kelowna, 1655 Westgate Road, West Kelowna
March 3rd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. – Sensisyusten Multi-Purpose Facility, 1920 Quail Lane, Westbank
