(UPDATE: March 25 @ 10:55 am) – For obvious reasons, Dan Mangan's April 12 show at the Kelowna Community Theatre was rescheduled last week.
The Facebook event for the concert showed the new date as Oct. 1, but now the BC-based artists has officially announced new dates for the entire tour and you won't have to wait until October.
Mangan will now play at the KCT in Kelowna on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Original tickets will be honoured on the new date and if you're unable to make it on Sept. 13, refunds will be available at the point of sale.
(Original story: March 17 @ 8:35 am) – A week ago, anyone with tickets to Dan Mangan’s April 12 show in Kelowna was happily looking forward to what was certainly going to be a great evening of music.
Over the last seven days, however, it became very clear that the concert wasn’t going to be able to proceed as planned due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19.
Today, that speculation was made official, but the good news is that the show has been postponed, not cancelled.
The new date will be Oct. 1, once again at the Kelowna Community Theatre, and all tickets will be honoured in the fall.
Mangan will still be playing his 2009 album “Nice, Nice, Very Nice” front to back when he comes to town in October.
He’ll then take a brief intermission before returning to play a set of his other notable songs.
There will be no opening act.
