B.C. born country artist Dallas Smith announced a Canadian tour on Monday and it’ll be stopping in the Okanagan.
He’ll be playing the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton on November 17th, which will be the second last date on the tour.
The platinum selling country star will begin the tour on October 12th in Halifax before making his way west for six weeks.
He’ll have a few different supporting artists throughout the tour, but the Penticton date will feature Lauren Alaina, Michael Ray and James Barker Band.
The “Side Effects Tour” is in support of his latest album “Side Effects,” which was released a year ago.
Smith is currently nominated for four Canadian Country Music Association Awards, including Male Artists of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year and the Apple Music Fans’ Choice Award.
He’ll perform at the awards show in Saskatoon on September 10th.
Tickets for the “Side Effects Tour” go on sale on Friday, August 25th at 10 a.m. through Valley First Tix and will cost you between $35 and $70 before service fees and taxes.
