Cyclist, 54, dies by side of road in Okanagan

Police are investigating after a cyclist died by a road in Summerland.

The man, 54 and from the area, was found seriously injured on Wednesday at about 1:42 pm along Dale Meadows Road.

He later died at the scene.

“Our investigators are now trying to piece together what caused the crash,” Sgt Jason Bayda said.

Police have asked that anyone who saw what happened get in touch at 250-494-7416.

They also wish to see any dash cam footage drivers may have of the incident.

The BC Coroners Service is also investigating.
