  • Cropped Festival takes over Penticton

If you love wine and supporting local wineries, Penticton is the place to be this weekend. The Okanagan Wine Festival Society is closing out its fall festival season with BC’s largest wine tasting and artisan market event.

On Friday evening, Cropped presented by Valley First returned for its third year, bringing more than 200 different wines, dozens of artisan vendors and hundreds of eager attendees.

With wineries hailing from across the valley, Cropped offers attendees the opportunity to not only revisit old favourites, but discover new vineyards tasters may have missed during their summer wine tours.

With a plethora of wine to taste, a wide selection of savory foods is at the taster's disposal to help balance the flavours. From fresh cheese to handmade salsa, there's something for everyone's palette.

The event also features an artisan market, showcasing everything from canned or homemade goodies, to stunning artwork, and live music produced by local talent.

A stroll throughout the space is akin to a morning spent at the fall farmers market.

After filling up on wine and cheese, attendees can pick up their favourite bottle from the on-site liquor store and use the taxi voucher included with their ticket to arrive home safely.
