While Mcdonalds didn’t become the world’s most popular restaurant due to its health conscious menu choices, a recent order has straight up stunned the internet.

On Tuesday, Bryan Passifiume, a reporter for the Toronto Sun, simply asked for extra cream cheese on his breakfast bagel and received what he now refers to as the "McMonstrosity". 

“LOL, what the hell @Mcdonalds Canada,” Passifiume wrote in his initial tweet, before comparing the bagel's sheer size to a variety of items such a hockey puck. 

“More photos of this monstrosity,” his second tweet, which now has more than 13,000 likes, read.

“I ordered extra cream cheese as they usually just apply it like butter, but this is clearly just an exercise in passive-aggressiveness. How do I possibly eat this?”

To further the experiment, Passifiume wrapped the bagel back up without actually eating it so he could compare the same order the following morning. 

While Wednesday's new “bagel with extra cream cheese” order still featured a lot of cream cheese, it just couldn't stack up to the now internet famous McMonstrosity.

The reporter was the first to admit the McMonstrosity is a far cry from the day's news cycle, but that hasn't stopped the world from calling. 

Plenty of publications from TIME Magazine to AOL and Yahoo have picked up the story, with Passifium also speaking on several radio talk shows.
