Crash causing afternoon delays on the Coquihalla

An afternoon crash is causing delays along the Coquihalla Highway.

According to Drive BC, the crash occurred just before 2 p.m. about 60 kilometres south of Merritt, near the Mine Creek Road exit.

UPDATE – #BCHwy5 NB vehicle incident at Mine Creek. Vehicle recovery in progress. Crews on scene. One lane is blocked. One lane is getting by. Expect delays. #Coquihalla

Currently, the highway has been reduced to single lane traffic in the northbound direction and delays are expected thoughout this afternoon.
