The OK Corral Cabaret is celebrating a successful year with a big show.

Coming off its best year in nearly a decade, the Corral is bringing Granger Smith to town for a show on April 21.

His single 'Happens Like That' is currently at spot No. 16 on the American country music charts.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale for $25 on Thursday, either online through Kelowna Tickets or in person at the Corral coat check.

General manager Andy Bowie says the early bird pricing is done in appreciation of everyone who has stood by the bar for the past few years.

“The strong comeback for the country nightclub is because of those passionate about country music, the cabaret and the lifestyle,” he said. “The staff and regulars often go above and beyond, with some regulars coming weekly for over 30 years.”

Bowie added that “the new generation of country music fan wants to dance, listen to live music and learn line dances.”

And of course, they want a cold beverage he says.
