UPDATE: Coquihalla’s southbound lanes re open following vehicle incident

(UPDATE: 6:30 pm) – DriveBC has confirmed the Coquihalla's southbound lanes near the Zopkios break check have reopened.

However, no details regarding the vehicle incident have been released.

(Original Story: 4:30 pm) – DriveBC is reporting that Highway 5 is closed southbound due to a vehicle incident near the Zopkios break check.

The incident was reported just after 4:30 and an assessment is currently in progress.

A Twitter user is also reporting that ambulance and police crews have arrived on scene.

Delays are expected.
