You know the saying 'practice makes perfect'?
Any athlete, no matter the skill level, knows that this phrase reigns supreme. When you are passionate about your sport, you eat, sleep and breathe it. You keep up with your favourite athletes, your local teams and play the game like your life depends on it.
For all those hockey players out there, you can perfect your practice at Okanagan Hockey Camp. They have classes for players age five to seventeen of all skill levels, such as Development, Advanced Development and Specialty Programs.
These programs consist of a targeted balance of on-ice training, off-ice training, skills sessions and off-ice activities. Okanagan Hockey Camp also offer specialized programs for forechecking, power skating, shooters and defensemen.
Okanagan Hockey Camp has a fun, safe and beneficial environment and their professional instructors hone in on strengths and work to improve areas of difficulty. Their camps are offered at the Kelowna Capital News Centre arena from August 6th to11th, 13th to18th and the 20th to 25th.
