It’s not easy to build a large development in the centre of a busy downtown core.
The work almost always comes with a few road and sidewalk closures and that’ll be the case for the streets surrounding the ELLA development this month.
ITC Construction has provided updated times for four significant road and sidewalk closures in Kelowna’s downtown core over the next two weeks.
While a pair are only two hours long in the morning, the other two are lengthy closures that will certainly affect a number of residents.
Here are the updated times:
- Friday, April 12: 5 a.m. – 7 a.m. (Ellis St)
- Monday, April 15: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Ellis St)
- Wednesday, April 17: 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Lawrence Ave)
- Tuesday, April 23: 5 a.m. – 7 a.m. (Ellis St)
For the safety of the public and work crews, motorists are asked to follow detour signs and the direction of traffic personnel.
