  • Clear skies and sun in store for Kamloops

Good morning Kamloops! Rise and shine!

As today will be another beauty of a day, we have a ridge of High pressure that continues to build over the North West States. This ridge will keep building North to lay over our province by the weekend, just in time for St. Patricks Day!

Bring out the grill and fire it up because we have plenty of Barbecuing days ahead of us. This ridge is not going anywhere anytime soon as it will continue to move North over British Columbia this weekend and build stronger into next week.

When it moves north, plan on wall-to-wall sunshine and building heat.

Temperatures will finally be above average for this time of year starting on Sunday when they hit low to mid 10’s and sky-rocket into the mid to high 10’s by Tuesday. Later in the week, temperatures could get as high as 20 degrees. We are looking to challenge records for all of next week!

Enjoy the Fantastic Hiking, Grilling steak type of weather this weekend!
