Chilliwack man goes missing in the BC Interior

RCMP in the BC Interior are on the lookout for a Chilliwack man who was last seen at a Salmon Arm gas station on May 26.

Kevin Alexander Tripp was last heard from a week earlier on May 19 and was reported missing by a concerned friend.

Investigators believe he travelled to the area with his dog in a red 1997 Ford Explorer with the license plate BT832C.

“Police and friends are concerned for Kevin’s well-being,” said Cpl. Mike Rail.

Tripp is described as a 55-year-old Caucasian man who’s 6’0” and 179 lbs.

He has brown hair, brown eyes and a prosthetic lower left leg.

Anyone with information about Tripp’s whereabouts is urged to call their local police or report tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477.
