The season of love is here and to help you plan the perfect Valentine’s Day date for your special someone, this list of Canada’s most romantic restaurants has been compiled.

OpenTable, an online reservation service, announced the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in Canada for 2020, and two Central Okanagan businesses were featured.

A total of 15 BC restaurants made the list this year, including Quails’ Gate Estate Winery’s Old Vines Restaurant in West Kelowna and Home Block at CedarCreek Estate Winery in Kelowna.

OpenTable’s 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in Canada for 2020 list is generated solely from diner reviews collected between December 1, 2018, and November 30, 2019. 

All restaurants with a minimum overall score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. 

The overall score is made up of unique data points, such as overall diner rating, user klout, total number of reviews and regional overall rating. Qualifying restaurants were then scored and sorted according to the percentage of reviews for which "romantic" was selected as a special feature. 

Quails’ Gate Winery also made the list last year, along with Kelowna’s La Bussola Restaurant, BLOCK ONE in Lake Country and Villa Rosa Ristorante in Penticton.
