A cat cafe event is coming to Lake Country in May.

The Lake Country Art Gallery is teaming up with the Okanagan Humane Society to host cats and kittens looking for their forever homes.

Guests will be asked to pay $2 at the door before being granted access to the feline gathering.

There will be an opportunity to draw some of the cats with artists and grab lunch or a coffee.

Cats and kittens will also be available for adoption.

An exhibition about Canada’s other favourite pets – “To the Dogs” – is also open to guests.

All funds raised will be shared between the Lake Country Art Gallery and the Okanagan Humane Society.

It is being held on Saturday, May 4 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
