A Canadian tourism agency tried a new approach to promoting Canadian winters in its latest campaign.
Destination Canada released a new Japanese anime ad this week called, Warm, winter Canada.
Directed by Hisayuki Tabata and made by some members of "Your Name," the clip highlights mountains, cities and breath-taking skies from across the country.
The animation has a clean and colourful look, and moves along to somewhat epic-sounding vocals in the background.
The 30-second short depicts friends and family exploring the downtown of Vancouver, skating in downtown Toronto, viewing Niagara Falls and watching the northern lights.
