One of Canada's original rock and roll superstars will be visiting the Kelowna Community Theatre this fall. 

The one and only Burton Cummings of The Guess Who will bring his intimate Up Close and Alone Tour to Kelowna Tuesday, Oct 17th, 2017.

The tour is centered around Cummings performing as a solo act and recounting the stories behind his best known songs as well as personal moments from his outstanding career.

In 1976, Cummings and fellow Guess Who founder Randy Bachman split, and Cummings began a solo career. He achieved a gold record for his single Stand Tall and followed that with a dozen hit singles including My Own Way to Rock, I will play a Rhapsody, Fine Stait of Affairs, Break it to the Gently and more.

Cummings has also received numerous honours and awards. He is a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, Canada’s Walk of Fame, multiple Juno award winner, recipient of the Order of Canada, and several BMI awards for over 1 million airplays of his songs.
