Boston Flats evacuation order rescinded

The TNRD is rescinding an evacuation order for the Boston Flats mobile home park that was destroyed by the Elephant Hill wildfire. The order will be lifted as of 5 p.m. today and the property released to the park owner.

According to the TNRD, the mobile home park will continue to be kept safe and secure, with checkpoints in place to control access. An evacuation was put in place on July 7th.

The TNRD released drone footage of the mobile home park on July 11th showing the scale of the damage in the small community between Ashcroft and Cache Creek.
