Most liquor stores are reporting that business has doubled or even tripled since people started getting serious with the whole concept of self-isolating due to COVID-19.
If you’re one of those people that’s visiting the liquor store a little more often and trying out new types of drinks while stuck at home, there’s a new option in Canada that may pique your interest.
You’re likely familiar with AriZona Iced Tea, the popular brand of drinks that is arguably most known for their iconic 99-cent cans.
Well, now they’ve expanded into the alcoholic drink market and their AriZona Hard Green Tea is now available in Canada.
They didn’t go about their Canadian launch with a ton of marketing or fanfare and it was actually confirmed through a casual reply to a tweet that snuck under the radar about two weeks ago.
They simply replied to a picture of the product and said, “rumours confirmed. Available in Canada!”
In the picture, there’s a 473 millilitre tall can and six-packs of 355 millilitre cans both available, although the BC Liquor Stores website says it only stocks the tall cans right now.
"Floral and herbal upfront with a sweet honey lacing over the middle entwined with a slight alcohol warming to finish," says the BCLS description.
The tall cans cost $3.49 each.
So next time you’re stocking up at the liquor store, keep an eye out for these bad boys and let us know what you think!
