After a stellar eastern conference road trip, the Blazers may want to relocate to the prairies permanently!

In six games played Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the Blazers went 4-0-2, pushing them six games above the Kelowna Rockets for the top spot in the WHL's BC Division. Kamloops wrapped up the trip with wins over Saskatoon on Friday and Prince Albert on Saturday. 

During the first game, Daylan Kuefler got the Blazers out to the early lead. After Saskatoon tied the game, Connor Zary scored his 20th of the year. 

Ryan Hughes would add one in the third while Orrin Centazzo would put two home to give Kamloops a 5-2 win. Rayce Ramsay made 28 saves on 30 shots to get the win in his home province. 

On Saturday, Kamloops scored the first three goals against the Raiders thanks to Centazzo, Hughes, and Logan Stankoven. After Prince Albert made it close in the third period with two of their own, Centazzo shut the door with an insurance goal, his 21st of the season. Dylan Garand got the start in this game, stopping 25 of 27 shots. 

Up next, Kamloops heads to Kelowna on Friday for a match against the Rockets. Puck drop is at 7:05 pm at Prospera Place.
