Blazers unveil Juno Beach-themed jerseys for Military Appreciation Night

It's no secret the Kamloops Blazers support the troops, and Tuesday showed more of the same!

The Blazers unveiled their limited edition "Juno Beach" jerseys. The jerseys honour those who put their lives on the line on June 6th, 1944 when countless soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy to take a vital position back from German troops.

Kamloops will wear the jerseys during the pregame warmups on Saturday when they take on the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Military and first responders now get a discount to all Blazer games if they show a valid ID at the ticket office. The discount will provide $5 to $7 off a ticket.

Puck drop is at 7 pm in the Sandman Centre.
