Everything is going right for the Kamloops Blazers lately, and Thursday was more of the same. 

Connor Zary was named the Western Hockey League McSweeney's Player of the Month this afternoon. The "B"-rated prospect for NHL Central Scouting led the league in scoring over the first two months of the year with 21 points through 14 games. 

Zary has recorded a point in all but one of his games played, posting a league-best 13-game point streak to begin the season. In October alone, Zary had six multi-point games as well as two three-point contests. 

The 6,' 180-pound forward from Saskatoon has helped lead the Blazers to a 9-5 record which puts them atop the BC Division standings.
