The Kamloops Blazers have announced the latest signing from the squad's 2024 draft class. 

Jacob Dumansky was selected 44th overall by the Blazers and recently officially joined the team on a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

“We would like to welcome Jacob and his family to the Kamloops Blazers organization,” said GM/head coach Shaun Clouston. 

“We are excited to be a part of Jacob’s development over the coming seasons.”

Dumansky spent the past season with the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep team, netting 21 goals and 49 points in 27 games. 

The 6’1”, 160lb forward is the fifth player from the 2024 draft class to sign with the Blazers, joining forwards Asher Gingras and Cole Secord and defencemen Joaquin Geras and Madden Tymchak.

Dumansky, Hudson Podollan and Tristan Anderlini from the Blazers organization are among the 80 players expected to attend the 2024 BC U16 Provincial Camp later this month in Chilliwack.
