It’s a frigid -19°C at Big White this morning and that is the forecasted high for Saturday, with moderate winds making it feel even colder.
On the bright side, literally, the skies are clear and visibility is unlimited.
There was a bit of snowfall on Friday, with Big White reporting 2 cm of new snow to hold the alpine snow base steady at 130 cm.
There are still 15 lifts spinning and 91 runs open, with reported conditions of “packed power and machine groomed.”
One note to be aware of is that the BUllet Express and TELUS Park will not be open for night skiing due to the forecasted cold temperatures, but the Plaza Chair will operate as scheduled.
You can check out the most up to date snow report at any time of day by visiting the Big White website.
