Big White is holding their first ever Fat Bike Spring Festival tomorrow

While the mountain is forecast to receive some snow today and tomorrow, Big White is gearing up for summer.

The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. in Happy Valley with a FREE all-ages Snow Enduro Race. The first runs start at 10 a.m. on a machine built snow course, which consists of a timed downhill section with a climb back to start.

There will also be free demos of fat bikes and e-bikes, guided Fat Bike Tours of the Nordic Trails, an outdoor BBQ and beer garden.

As of 6:30 a.m., it’s -4C with moderate winds and broken cloud. The mountain hasn’t received any fresh powder in the last 24 hours, leaving the alpine snow base at 203 cm.
