Big White gets a light dusting of snow

It’s raining in the valley, but it’s snowing up on the mountains.

Light snow began falling at the village at Big White Ski Resort this morning, and was accumulating more in the alpine.

Meteorologist Wesla English said in her weekend forecast that freezing levels will fluctuate between 1400m and 1800m.

This afternoon, webcams are showing that snow is still sticking to the ground up on the mountain.
