  • Big White: Fresh powder propels mountain to 200 cm of cumulative snowfall this season

A fresh dump of snow on Saturday helped Big White hit a nice little early season milestone.

Six centimetres were reported and that brings the mountain to 200 cm of cumulative snowfall for the 2025-26 season.

The alpine snow base is currently 120 cm.

Big White is reporting light winds, obscure skies and limited visibility this morning, with groomed and fresh powder for you to enjoy.

It’s -5°C right now and that should be around the high for the day, with windy conditions and potentially a bit more snow in the forecast.

Gem Lake opened today, which means there are 14 lifts spinning to service 86 open runs, 50 of which are groomed.
