It's Big White's opening day – and there's been fresh snow.
The resort is reporting five centimetres of new snow over the last 24 hours.
In the last seven days, there’s been 19 cm of snowfall.
The alpine base is now 73 cm.
It’s -4ºC early today.
Winds are moderate and it’s currently snowing, with fresh powder on the slopes and limited visibility.
Four lifts are running, while 18 runs are open.
