Big White didn’t see a ton of new snow Friday, but it was still a fantastic week of weather on the mountain.

More than a foot of new snow fell throughout the work week and that means exciting conditions for those who finally get to ride this weekend.

Although just 2 cm of snow fell over the past 24 hours, Big White is reporting 42 cm of the white stuff over the past seven days and an alpine snow base of 155 cm.

It’s -6°C on the hill early this morning, a perfect temperature for a day of skiing, and the winds are calm with overcast skies and unlimited visibility.

Sixteen lifts remain open to get you around the mountain to 109 runs.
