Ben and Jerry’s has launched a new line of non-dairy, certified vegan frozen desserts.
The new line of frozen desserts will feature all the creamy texture, funky chunks, and sweet swirls the company is known for. The new products will be without dairy, eggs, or honey and consist of a base made with almond milk.

When designing the new flavour, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, developer Kristen Schimoler said she tried all types of vegan options including coconut, cashew, soy, rice, and hemp milk. Schimoler eventually decided to use almond milk as it met her exacting standards, which took three years of testing and more than 50 versions to achieve.
To produce the new desserts, Ben and Jerry’s teamed up with Vegan Action, an organization that has been on the forefront of vegan certification, labeling, education, and outreach for 20 years. All the non-dairy flavours are 100 per cent certified vegan and include Non-Dairy Chunky Monkey, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Coffee Caramel Fudge, and P.B. & Cookies.
The new desserts are set to hit store shelves around the world very soon.
