BC Wildfire Service reported Saturday that the total land burned by the B.C. Wildfires this season is larger than the entire province of Prince Edward Island.
That area is currently estimated at 591,000 hectares and includes 892 fires that have burned across the province since Saturday, April 1st.
A brief look out the window into the smoky haze can confirm the damage done by this year's wildfire season, but these before and after photos offer an excellent perspective into the smoke being produced by the hundreds of blazes burning across B.C.
