It’s time to go through your camera roll and share your beloved pet with the world by entering to win them a page in the BC SPCA 2024 calendar.
From Feb. 1-18, participants can upload their pet’s photo and story to the Calendar Contest website and then invite friends and family to donate in support.

“We can’t wait to see all the animals who have left paw prints on their guardians’ hearts,” says Alina Wilson, the senior officer of digital gifting for the BC SPCA.
“When you enter your pet’s photo in the contest, you share that joy with the people around you, while also raising urgently needed funds for vulnerable animals.”

The 13 animals with the most votes at 10 pm on Feb. 18 will be featured in the calendar, with twelve monthly spots and one for the cover.
Participants who donate $25 or more on Feb. 1 during registration will receive 25 bonus votes, up to 50 total, from Hill’s.
In addition, one lucky furry friend will win a bonus half page in the calendar, and there are 36 greeting card spots up for grabs.
The Hill’s Honourable Mention is also back this year for contestants who raise 50 or more votes.
“Every year contestants are so passionate in their love for their special animal and for animals everywhere,” says Frances Cheslo, the engagement specialist of Hill’s Pet Nutrition Canada.
“It’s such a fun way to come together for animals in need.”

The funds raised through the Calendar Contest go towards providing care for animals across the province.
Last year, animal lovers made it possible for the BC SPCA to help more than 118,000 domestic, farm and wild animals.
